There are two opportunities for colored pencil workshops in October. At Bloom on the 10th and a Saturday morning/noon class at Cross Road on the 12th. Details below.
Newly published booklet by Jeffrey M Green.
Basic Colored Pencil Technique Guide
Designed as a take-home for colored pencil workshops and anyone new or unfamiliar with colored pencils.
A handy text reference, with tips. I will be offering these at future workshops (or you can purchase at link below). Keep in mind this is not a step-by-step lesson. It is an aid full of information to offer students or as a reference for beginning and intermediate colored pencil artists.
Purchase at link: Basic Colored Pencil Tehnique Guide
Thursday, October 10th, 6:30-8:30 PM
NOTE: As Bloom is a non-profit and material costs grow, there is now an additional $5 cost for materials use, for a total of $25 per person for the class.
For October, our subject will be a pumpkin. Learn the basics of colored pencil technique while exploring shape, shading, and color. We'll be enjoying pumpkin spice treats and candy, while having fun drawing.
New to drawing? This workshop is designed for anyone to have fun and get something out of it. No pressure, just encouraging teaching.
Prepay at Bloom, September Workshop or pay at door.

Materials required: You are required to bring Prismacolor colored pencils with you. If you already own a supply, whatever you have is fine. If you do not, ordering a pack of 12 is all that is needed.
